Russian Progress: My "Starting Point" Before Taking Russian 101 at University of Hawaii-Manoa

I decided that I wanted to document my progress in learning Russian over the next 4 years. This video is my starting point. (And I have taken private lessons beforehand, so please keep that in mind! I'm not an absolute beginner- but still not past beginner stage by any means). My goal is to make a video before and after each semester for the next 4 years to document the progress I made as a Russian Major at the University of Hawaii.

These videos are not meant to be perfect, and I'm sure there will be mistakes in them. (And I often forget words, or sound awfully slow in spitting them out! Speaking is the hardest skill for me to acquire in any language). They are only meant to show my "real" knowledge (mistakes and all) of Russian, and how it progresses over time.
